About Kayla
Kayla is a full spectrum doula that centers birth support. She was trained by the incredible Haize Hawke Rosen through the Get Rooted Doula Training program. Kayla holds Reiki I and II certifications, and is an intuitive artist that specializes in tarot reading, art therapy and creating sacred spaces.
Beyond certifications and offerings, Kayla cherishes being a mother. She gave birth to her son at home in August of 2020. This journey inspired her path to becoming a doula. Long before becoming a parent she was always drawn towards consciously raising children and treating all beings, no matter how big or small, young or old with the same amount of respect that we would want for ourselves.
She believes pregnancy offers so many opportunities to grow and evolve personally and spiritually. Kayla views pregnancy, birth and parenting as a sacred journey, and feels that with awareness, knowledge and preparation we can not only thrive, but can also allow and encourage our children to become who they came here to be in their fullest expressions.
Kayla is passionate about guiding people back to their own intuition to make decisions in pregnancy, birth and beyond. She deeply trusts in the physiological birthing process, and knows how divinely created we are to be so capable of growing, birthing and nourishing new life with our bodies.
